Building Universal: Speed, Tools & Infrastructure

• ZetaChain v31 Lightning Launch: The ZetaChain v31 Lightning release optimizes block time from 6 seconds to 4 seconds without compromising decentralization, putting us on the path to achieving the fastest (and decentralized) cross-chain transactions (CCTX) in the industry. The upgrade also introduces withdrawAndCall functionality on Solana mainnet and depositAndCall for native tokens on TON testnet, further expanding the Universal capabilities. • Developer Tool Enhancement: The ZetaChain CLI now enables developers to deposit assets and call Universal Contracts from Sui, Solana, and Ton with simple one-line commands. The enhanced CLI also features an unified view of ZRC-20s, EVM tokens, SOL, SUI, BTC, and TON all in one place, and real-time cross-chain transaction tracking that follows transactions through their entire journey.

• Infrastructure Modernization: We’re replacing Ethermint with Cosmos EVM and upgrading to SDK v53. By investing in our core infrastructure, we’re making sure ZetaChain remains the most robust and scalable Universal Blockchain for all of crypto.

• Website Upgrade: A fresh new landing page that better communicates the power of Universal Blockchain. The new zetachain.com features improved user flows, visual demonstrations of Universal use cases, and clearer pathways for developers, users, and partners to engage with our ecosystem.

• Alea Blueprint Report and Deep Dive Analysis of ZetaChain: We collaborated closely with Alea Research to produce in-depth report examining ZetaChain’s technology, unique approach to blockchain interoperability, $ZETA utilities, and more potential use cases.

• Bitcoin Interoperability Innovation: In response to the recent OP_RETURN debate, we published a thought leadership piece on how Bitcoin is becoming more expressive following the removal of OP_RETURN limits, and how ZetaChain plays a crucial role in bringing native BTC into the broader DeFi ecosystem. • $ZETA market is live on Polynomial: The launch of $ZETA market on Polynomial brings multi-collateral margin trading to all $ZETA holders.

• $ZETA is available on BloFin Exchange: $ZETA’s listing on BloFin spot trading marks another milestone in expanding global access to Universal Blockchain.

• Zuno joins Universal Ecosystem: We welcomed Zuno, a new Universal DEX launching on ZetaChain testnet that enables seamless trading across Bitcoin, EVM chains, and Solana to our ecosystem. Zuno represents the next generation of Universal Apps that leverage our infrastructure to create truly chain-agnostic trading experiences.
