ZetaChain’s mission is to serve as a platform for universal access, simplicity, and utility across any blockchain. One month after the exciting ZetaChain Mainnet Beta release, we launched straight into the biggest event activation ever at ETHDenver: Omnichain Day! With over 1M users on ZetaHub and significant ecosystem momentum in February, we have a strong foundation to build on in 2024, and the years to come!

30 million transactions in 30 days

Before jumping into all of the fun community and ecosystem highlights, let’s take a quick look at ZetaChain adoption over the past 30 days since launch:

• Over 1,000,000+ users registered on ZetaHub.

• 1,800,000+ total unique addresses on ZetaChain, demonstrating growing usage across the app ecosystem [Source: ZetaScan Explorer, March 11th, 2024].

• Over 35+ million zEVM transactions processed and 400,000+ native cross-chain transactions completed [Source: ZetaScan Explorer, March 11th, 2024].

• 1,000,000+ followers crossed @ZetaBlockchain Twitter.

• 30,000,000+ ZETA claimed by eligible ZetaLabs testnet users.

ETHDenver 2024 Wrapped

Thousands of people at ETHDenver came out to ZetaChain’s events! More than ever we believe in our mission to bring smart contract interoperability to all chains including Bitcoin so Web3 can reach its full potential! Check out a few highlights from the week:

Thank you Satoshi, Whoever You are

More than 1,000 friends joined us for ‘Thank you Satoshi, Whoever You are,’ an event celebrating Bitcoin — thank you to our partners OKX and SushiSwap who co-hosted alongside ZetaChain. With all of the buzz around Bitcoin, we made sure to share the massive opportunity for developers to build Bitcoin Smart Contracts and tap into native BTC.

The next day, ZetaChain core contributor Jonathan Covey took the main stage at ETHDenver to walk through “Bringing Bitcoin into Web3”:

Omnichain Day

Our inaugural full-day Omnichain Day took place last Thursday at ETHDenver! We brought together renowned Web3 speakers and ecosystem partners from around the world to discuss the future of Omnichain. Here, we discussed the growing ZetaChain ecosystem and our simple, fast, and secure omnichain blockchain.

The topics covered included:

• How OKX is enabling seamless omnichain experiences

• Interoperability in Web3

• The importance of omnichain dapps

• The role of data in an omnichain world

• Wallet and chain abstraction

• The benefit native Bitcoin in DeFi

ETHDenver 2024 Official

Our commitment was on display at the actual ETHDenver conference, too, where we had a strong presence on the main stage, #BUIDLathon hackathon, and ZetaChain official booth!

In addition to our talk on ZetaChain’s Bitcoin interoperability, core contributor Brandon Truong joined an insightful discussion on L2 interoperability with IBC at Interchain, Omni Network, and Squid Router! Check out the panel session here:

We also proudly participated in a bunch of partner side events throughout the week including EthSign’s Sign 2024, App Chain Day by DoraHacks, and many more!

Community

Outside of ETHDenver, we saw ZetaHub introduce XP for dApps. This important development encourages education and experimentation with new dApps coming out on ZetaChain.

In fact, just last week, ZetaHub XP introduced a new batch of dApps:

• Mint a badge on Ultiverse to enter the new AI-powered metaverse, Terminus city

• Liquid Staking on ZetaEarn

• Swap tokens on ZetaSwap

The update is part of a broader focus on making XP activities, campaigns, and special bonuses more accessible and fun for users. Already, we see more than one million users registered on ZetaHub and are excited to continue driving growth activity through the portal.

Ecosystem

Our first month’s effort was largely focused on coordinating infrastructure and app launches with day 1 ecosystem partners. With extremely high traffic, especially during the first week, we were able to quickly scale partner support for a smoother experience on ZetaChain. All together, February saw a whopping 5 billion RPC requests across more than 3,500 deployed contracts!

Governance is live!

Another significant milestone in February was the release of ZetaChain’s governance process. With over 150 core contributors, we are always looking for suggestions and ideas for improvement — go ahead and submit a PR if you have feedback.

More StackUp developer campaigns!

The developer focused learn-to-earn saga continued with StackUp Part 3: Seamless Cross-Chain Messaging with ZetaChain. And now Part 4 just went live: Omnichain NFTs. Everything developers need to know to get ready is here.

Partnerships

Outside of all of the day 1 launch partners, we continue to expand high quality partnerships across the ecosystem stack. Check out a few highlights:

• Trust Wallet, the Binance-owned Web3 wallet, integrated ZetaChain, as well as Rabby Wallet and BurritoWallet.

• Five new apps went live to facilitate bridging assets to ZetaChain. These projects give the ecosystem more options in addition to ZetaHub Send.

• Decentralized messaging with Dmail Network is live on ZetaChain.

• Ultiverse launches their all new AI-powered metaverse, Terminus city on ZetaChain! Ultiverse takes a different approach to the gaming experience allowing players to interact with AI NPCs and explore around with VR compatibility.

We’re also excited to see new opportunities for giveaways from our partners including:

• 350,000 ZETA from Bitget Wallet

• $50,000 from multiple ZetaChain app partners, led by Rhino.fi

• 50,000 USDT in prizes by Ultiverse in partnership with ZetaChain
